So, if I was 17 years old these lyrics would be scrawled all over my chemistry notebook, surrounded by anarchy symbols and “I (Heart) Green Day”. I still love this band, and they have managed to pull off another rock opera in three acts. I guess I’m still just one of the “Last of the American Girls”.
